Rules of the showdown

It all starts with a fortress.

In Quizadero, the trivia and strategy game, three players start in different regions. Choose where to build your fortress, claim territory with correct answers and get ready for war: one duel can redraw the map.

  • Think fast Pick from four answers or make a number estimate. You have 15 seconds; if you both answer correctly, the estimate decides the duel.
  • Make every region count Your home region is worth 1,000 points. The others earn you 200, 300 or 400, depending on when you claim them.
  • Make your mark on the leaderboard In Assault and Campaign, wins earn you more XP. Keep winning to climb the player leaderboard and hold your place there.
  • Bring down all three towers Win duels at your rival’s fortress. When the third tower falls, all their territories become yours.

The strategy of conquest

Choose your attack. Claim the region.

Once the map fills up, you can't claim territory in Quizadero without facing a rival. Find their border, win the duel and push the front line forward. Reach their fortress and bring down all three towers to take every region they still hold.

Play in English and every match deals you one of four maps: Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary or Serbia. Tap the deck to see the next one. Choose Romanian, Bulgarian, Hungarian or Serbian as your game language and you always play on that country's map.

The duel

Win the duel. Bring down a tower.

At the fortress gates, every answer can change the map. In Quizadero, you have 15 seconds to choose the correct answer from four options. If you both answer correctly, a numerical estimation question follows. How close each estimate comes to the exact value matters, and in some cases response time makes the difference. Win a duel at the fortress and one tower falls. Bring down all three to claim every territory your rival holds.
